Role Description

As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with functional owner and business analyst
  • Define the application user journey
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in user experience design for software in both web and mobile scenarios
  • Strong scamping (rough sketching), visual communication ability and demonstrable drawing technique
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks or equivalent design tools
  • Ability to create wireframes and low/hi fidelity mock-ups using tools such as Invision, Marvel etc
  • Ability to work with development resources to translate designs into html5, css3 etc. for production use
  • Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
  • Strong people and communication skills in both matters of business and technology
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and design methods to identify the underlying challenges within the enterprise, project and team
  • Ability to inspire change in others (project team and client)
  • Able to work with little supervision and manage independently the UI/UX project
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Fully mobile and willing to work away from home on a regular basis if required (50-80%)
  • EU work permit is a must
  • Fluency in English.
